Leśno and micro-region in the Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age. Forest and micro-region in the Roman period

Two volumes devoted to the prehistoric history of Leśno near Chojnice summarise the results of archaeological research carried out in the area from 1975-2005. The author of both volumes, Dr Krzysztof Walenta, directed the excavations in Leśno on behalf of the Institute of Archaeology, University of Łódź. In both volumes of the series, he thoroughly analyses the assumptions, course and results of the research, reconstructing the history of the settlement at Leśno in two time periods: the Bronze Age and Early Iron Age, and the Roman period. He also presents interesting archaeological artefacts obtained during the research. The author's text is enriched by specialist studies. The publications are accompanied by abstracts
in English.
