Information clause for persons whose data are processed by the J. Rydzkowski Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice

 

We hereby wish to inform you that due to the entry into force on 25 May 2018 of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation - Official Journal of the EU L 119 - hereinafter: RODO), the J. Rydzkowski Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice will ensure the standards of protection and proper handling of personal data set out in these regulations.

By Article 13(1) and (2) of the RODO, we would like to inform persons whose data the Museum holds that:

  1. J. Rydzkowski Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice - registered office: 89-600 Chojnice, 15 Podmurna Street is the Administrator of the Personal Data which has come into possession as a result of contracts concluded with you, maintenance of correspondence, substantive handling of requests and postulates sent to us.
  2. Your data referred to above have been, are and will be processed by the Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice, as Data Administrator, exclusively for the purposes specified in the provisions of:
    • the Act of 21 November 1996 on museums,
    • the Act of 27 June 1997 on libraries,
    • the Act of 25 October 1991 on organising and conducting a cultural activity,
    • the Act of 6 September 2001 on access to public information,
    • the Act of 25 February 2016 on the re-use of public sector information,
    • the Act of 29 January 2004. Public Procurement Law,
    • the Act of 22 August 1997 on the protection of persons and property,
    • business law provisions.
  3. The legal basis for the admissibility of the processing by the Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice of data concerning you is based on the above-mentioned legal provisions and the necessity for the performance of contracts concluded with the Museum. Where required, the Chojnice Historical and Ethnographic Museum will seek your consent to the processing of your data for the expressly declared purpose, subject to the possibility of easy revocation of consent by the person who has previously given it.

    The Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice declares that, in certain factual situations, it will process your data based on the prerequisite of necessity permitted by the RODO for purposes arising from legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller or by a third party. Examples of such processing purposes will include:
    • the use of video surveillance to ensure the security of persons and property in areas and specific facilities located on Museum property,
    • marketing of our services and promoting the activities of the Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice and new initiatives to contracted customers,
    • asserting claims arising from its activities.
  4. The personal data concerning you are not subject to automated decision-making by the Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice, including profiling.
  5. Persons whose data the Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice processes are entitled to:
    • access to their data and to receive a copy of their data,
    • rectification (amendment) of data,
    • to have their data deleted (by the conditions specified in Article 17 RODO),
    • to restrict data processing,
    • to data portability (under the terms of Article 20 RODO),
    • to object to the processing of your data,
    • to complain to the supervisory authority, which is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  6. The Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice will keep your data for the period indicated in the provisions listed in point. 2 of this "Information Clause".
  7. Your data may be made available to subcontractors bound to the Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice by contracts of entrustment of personal data processing, e.g. law firms, IT companies, and personal and property security agencies.
  8. The Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice, as Data Controller, declares that it does not transfer and does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country.
